Fall Internship Intern will have the opportunity to see the workings of a senatorial office and observe the political process in action. Responsibilities include: attending Senate hearings, assisting legislative assistants with research on specific projects, responding to constituent mail, and tracking legislation. Interns will also help sort mail, meet and greet constituents, guide Capitol tours, answer telephones, and work on other assignments as needed. Applicants must have excellent writing and communication skills. Being able to work as part of a team is also essential. Duration: September-December. Deadline: April 1st.
