Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP follows the set of hiring criteria outlined below.
We are looking to hire law students from around the country with diverse backgrounds, well-rounded life experiences, and a demonstrated commitment to outstanding personal and academic achievement. The factors we consider in evaluating law students include, but are not limited to, previous work experience, undergraduate and law school performance, law review and other journal experience, extracurricular activities, professionalism, and contributions to the community. We typically hire students in the top 10-15% of their class with outstanding academic credentials and excellent writing skills. We also strongly value diversity, character, work ethic, creativity, leadership, and the drive to learn and excel.
Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie has a longstanding tradition of handling pro bono matters for people with financial need, promoting legal representation and donating significant resources to ensuring justice for the indigent. Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie manifested this tradition early on in cases such as Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (1966), in which John P. Frank, John Flynn, and others, represented Ernesto Miranda in the landmark case giving rise to "Miranda Rights."
