5.Current Employee, more than 3 yearsI've had a good experience working hereFront End Developer in Seattle, WARecommendProsEveryone is very collaborative and friendly. I feel like my voice is heard and our projects actually get completed which is something that is rare for tech.ConsThe only downside I can think of is if you don't live in a state that has an office then you will only be able to be a contract worker and not a full time employee.
Let more staff members work remotely on occasion. Continue innovative approach.
Innovative firm that focuses on diversity & inclusion. Good opportunities for advancement and professional development. Brilliant people who are also very down to earth. Although I'm on the staff side of things, I feel like a valued part of the team and that my voice is heard.
Sometimes departments don't communicate with other departments, not a big issue but just an area of improvement.
I haven't had any issues with partners here. N/A
Innovation, flexibility, the people, and work/life balance. Also, the Seattle office has an awesome rooftop.
Managers should make sure that some important long term goals are kept to keep things from falling apart too much.
Everyone here tries to help people make more money each quarter and takes each day one at a time to keep themselves from getting stressed.
The short sighted thinking does tend to cause problems sometimes for short term gains that could have easily be fixed otherwise.
Hopefully management will do something soon to keep the office politics to a minimum. The work environment here is good, but it could be even better with a few policy changes.
Associates here are given the freedom to work as they see fit. As long as you meet your billable hours quota you can do what you want, when you want. It's nice to not always have management breathing down my neck and micromanaging me.
Office politics can sometimes get in the way of productivity and are not always enjoyable. Backbiting and acrimony are more common than they should be.
Thank you.
