Continue to be transparent with associates about the path to partnership so that you can retain those who bring significant value to the firm.
The firm offers the opportunity to do meaningful regulatory work from Day 1, and is flexible in terms of at-home work when needed.
This is not necessarily a downside, but it helps if you are a self-starter and can work without constant supervision. Your final work product will be vetted, but you will go farther faster if you can advance your projects without a lot of oversight.
This firm should consider attempting to pay their employees more, especially those who have worked at the firm for many years. Even a small increase from time to time can make a huge difference.
This firm creates a positive work environment and allows employees room to grow. Employees have worked there for quite some time and always spoke positively of their experiences working there. In my experience I felt the same could be said, and even would have stayed longer if I was not offered a better paying position.
As I mentioned above, the only downside to this firm was money. They offer a decent salary to those first starting out, but for people like me with many years of experience it can be a bit of a downside. Making the most amount of money isn't everything and having a friendly work environment helps, but at some point people want to move up the ladder.
Thank you.
