The Dangers of Getting Jobs Through Friends and Family
2 Star Rating

Treat employees with respect
Nice office
Very dishonest and manipulative management. The CEO is a snake oil salesman. Employee turnover rate is 40% among associates. Stay away from this company unless you want to work a lot and get paid very little. Additional, the environment is very toxic.
Be honest and treat your employees with respect.
Office is located in a nice building.

Your anonymous The attorneys I worked for here wanted someone to handle what I now know is 3 people's jobs- they hired 3 to replace me, which is surprising considering how cheap they are at bonus time. I got a bigger bonus in the early 90s! Attorneys oblivious to what they need to do to manage a loyal staff which is losing faith and money working here. Stagnant wages. Work very isolating due to overworked staff. Staff morale is a mess. Documents go missing all the time, total lack of professionalism. Shocking to me after 30 years in the field!
Consider paying people more to make up for the stressful nature of the work that is done every day here.
Everything here is important and you feel like you are making real change in the world when you do a great job.
The stress of how important this work is does not match the pay that you will get. Other firms with less stressful work pay a lot more.
My advice for management is to come up with better ways to delegate assignments for employees. This will decrease turnover and burnout in my opinion.
My co-workers were very friendly and there were some interesting cases to work on.
The management team gives too much work to new associates while the more experienced seniors don't do much of anything.
To prevent burnout and turnover among employees, it would be better if management were more proactive in carrying out solutions that improve work-life balance. I would have appreciated benefits of a flexible work schedule or one that honored PTO when it was requested while I was here. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance would have helped boost not only my team's morale, but also those of many other staff at the firm.
Transparent management but work-life balance could be improved
Inefficiencies in implementing procedures for better workflows could be overcome. This led to a tough work-life balance in which there were few incentives in place to relieve the burdens of tremendously long work weeks. In my time here, I did not have the chance to offer any feedback to upper management in how to create more welcoming spaces for receiving complaints and suggestions.
Thank you.
