Revamp E-Discovery department and hire people who know what they are doing.
I can' t really think of any pros.
Worst place to work as Document Review Attorney. No paid holidays, arbitrarily sent when there is no workload (shouldn't leadership anticipate when a case near ending?! and make arrangements). Short 30 minute lunch with no ability to take a longer lunch make up time difference.
Mary Marvin, the Director of the E-Discovery department, is not helpful or accomodating.
There is not really I could describe as a favorite.

Expect your attorneys to treat others with basic respect and kindness, and stop blaming underpaid support staff for their own mistakes.
There was a time this firm earned respect for their work. That time is long gone.
Do not work for or do business with this awful company. Staff are verbally abusive, regularly insulting support staff in front of others, including lgbt and learning-disabled staff, each doing the jobs of four people for ungrateful millionaire attorneys. Recently a veteran of the profession came from a respected firm and left in just six weeks, saying he’s never seen people treated so poorly. Other support staff are leaving in droves and management is unable to find people with so little self respect they’d be insulted and made fun of while making no more than fast food dishwashers. Kindness and professionalism are not something you’ll find at Robins Kaplan.
All.
Nothing.
Restructure your hiring policies to let in some innovative thinkers, truly diverse people. You are shutting good people out with unethical hiring practices and the biases of the old women in HR (Minneapolis office). Bring in help from the other locations or revamp the HR hiring ways. Once in, people do not thrive and the company is not good. Nobody wants to work with people like that if you have to swallow hard and "go along to get along." At the end of the day, you don't sleep well.
The checks cash. You don't want to raise a family on those paychecks though. Not ethical. Can only bring you daily unhappiness.
HR women are long in the tooth and serve as the "gatekeepers" to the corporate culture. Uneducated, sexist and racist. They protect their own, and weed out anyone with intelligence or promise. If you like to march in lockstep, head down and never asking questions, you will get in and fit in. HR admits the people to this firm, and they are dinosaurs in hiring practices. Beware. If you have opportunities elsewhere, don't give this place a second look...
It has not reached partner level... yet.
The paychecks clear. That is about it. LaSalle Street is a lousy location in Minneapolis. Small place compared to bigger firms. No respect or concern for people hired. For women and minorities, this is like a 1950s retro firm. Polish up your resume and try to get out, if you can...
Keep in touch with the staff and HR department to find out when advancement opportunities are available. This is vital to finding adamant within this law firm.
This firm is a great place to work at. The firm goes out of their way to provide employees with an excellent place of employment with accommodating workspaces and flexible hours. I have had the pleasure of working with a great team here that have only further my abilities in this field.
It is hard to advance yourself through the law firm. The firm itself does a poor job of publishing opportunities for employees to advance.
If you like routine then this is a good firm to be with so go in with the knowledge that where you get placed will be where you will be for a while. Also make sure that you provide feedback and keep communication open with the other associates.
This firm provides a great work environment that lends itself to a happy workplace with people who are happy and content with what they do which leads to an overall positive vibe. Everyone wants one another to succeed. The company offers great compensation with other benefits not found in other firms.
The firm does not promote often therefore you most likely will not be able to move up in the company very quickly. This can make your work somewhat tedious at times.
Thank you.
