Great people, great pay

Full time Current Employee

You all are doing a great job. I've heard some things that I know are obvious lies, but that's expected. Everyone can't be privy to everything.

There are so many great people working here. They are willing to share knowledge and help each other. The office tries to keep staff mingling and involved by frequent appreciation events. There is also a great benefits package.

You have to pay for your own parking. The firm has paid spots available in the building, but they are reserved for attorneys. Although most people agree the pay is good, let them make you an offer. This is not necessarily unique to this company, though. If you unknowingly low-ball yourself, they will accept it.

I have not personally encountered anyone who should be avoided. From summer associates to the MP, everyone has been approachable and friendly.

The firm has great benefits, interesting activities to encouraging mingling among all employees, and sociable people. There's a lot of work to be done during the day, but there's always someone to exchange a few minutes of friendly conversation.

Law Firm with Great Employees

There is a need for training of management staff to be more organized with the work and implement a much more organized working structure. More employees should be hired so that some of the staff does not have to stay in later to work.

The law firm offers a shuttle service. The environment of the law firm is composed of considerate and employees who do well at the work they perform.

The law firm really needs to consider hiring more employees for the office. Some of the staff is sometimes asked to work until the later hours. Management lacks in being organized with work.

Organize the compensation and advancement better. Offer more support to staff.

The lawyers and staff are smart and educated. There is a great amount of personal development. I learned a lot here.

The compensation and advancement structure is very complicated. There is a lack of support from management.

For the managers, be more involved in the work you put on your staff.

This firm offers really awesome benefits to go along with the great pay. I was excited to work at this firm because of the big name and the endless possible doors it could potentially open for me down the road. I never felt lost or confused with the tedious workload; we were given great training to prepare use for what we were getting ourselves into.

I felt underappreciated even when busting my hump to somehow reach their set billable hours. Management doesn't really pay attention to their staff, they really don't even seem to know what an individual is specifically working on; all they care about is if those hours are met.

A Middle Ground Law Firm

If you are looking for stability with benefits then this is a great law firm to work for but if you are looking for variety and opportunities to advance your career then this would not be a firm that you would want to build a future with.

This firm has is a steady place to work for. They offer great benefits packages with a variety of offerings. The company is large so there will be plenty of work and there is never a question of if you will be able to get a case to work on. The company has a long history and will be here for the long haul.

The firm struggles with organization and communications. Upper management could do better with working with others. The office can also be somewhat mundane as you will get the same types of cases day in and day out. You will also be required to put in very long days.
