Unbearable hours. You are being run to the ground
Management at this firm needs to be more present and strict with their staff. Being laid back isn't a bad thing, but if employees are running the law firm it will become too chaotic.
This firm offered a good work environment that was nice to work with. Most of the employees I got along with and others kept to themselves which was fine. Upper management wasn't around much but when they were they were always helpful.
As I mentioned before, management wasn't always present when we needed them. Some staff would do whatever they please and management just didn't seem to care. The place felt like a zoo sometimes.
Treat your employees as equals. Work on management a little.
The culture and work environment are excellent. The partners work to make a comfortable atmosphere. There aren't any minimum hours or any pressure to hit a certain amount.
Hours can get long. The pressure and stress is not for everyone.
I would recommend offering higher pay with more benefits to give associates anincentive to stay longer. There are also needs to be some greater transparency amongmanagement.
Great Associates, High Turnover
You're almost expected to be available 24/7, which is sometimes unbearable, but with a little managing you can minimize this. Not the best pay in the world either, and theturnover rate tends to be extremely high.
Thank you.
