5.Current Employee, more than 3 yearsGREAT PLACE TO WORK!!!Legal Assistant RecommendProsExcellent place to work!!! Super friendly and professional!! The best!!ConsCan't think of anything significant.
Lack of fair treatment systems for administrative staff Excessive work hours expected Guilt for taking time off or leaving on time Inadequate perks to counteract negative work environment.
Cutting back on the work hours for associates during the week and having to work a lot fewer weekends would help tremendously.
This is a firm above the rest in that the associates all pull together to help one another out on difficult cases.
The wage is probably the lowest, or close to it, that I have seen for the amount of work that is expected of you here.
This firm needs to have more options for employees to move forward. Otherwise they will get bored and look for better opportunities elsewhere.
I've worked at this firm for several years now and can honestly say it's one of the best places to work. The hours are perfect and give you a good work and home balance. Management and I get along great and I've made some really good friendships at this firm.
My only issue with this firm is the lack of mobility. I like the position I have been in, but if I ever want to move up I need to change where I work. The positions available to move up at this firm are very slim to none.
I would work at this firm if you get the chance. It is big law but it is very client focused and has a wide diverse range of clients. It is a great place to get your feet wet in many different kinds of law while still working for a large multi-national law firm. It can be hard to advance but tell me one firm where that is not the case.
This is a large firm and has over 500 attorneys, but I like the fact that they are very client focused. It makes me feel like a personal lawyer and not part of a corporation. The practice areas are large and diverse. I have done everything from complex M&A work to working on consumer class action cases for regular people. They also have many different offices and locations.
It is hard to get focused on one specialty. I am doing many different areas and I would not say that I am an expert on one particular practice area. It is great to get to do many things, but I would not be able to come out saying I am an expert in one area. I hope to stay and advance with this firm.
Thank you.
