Lifestyle Firm with Sophisticated Work

Keep doing what you're doing - associates feel valued and want to be a part of this unique law firm culture that you work so hard to maintain even as we grow.

A true lifestyle firm, but with the sophisticated work of a larger office. The firm has a well-rounded group of practice areas that creates the opportunity for associates to easily expand their practice if they so desire.

The firm is working on some technology upgrades, which naturally comes with some growing pains. Informal associate check ins have not always been consistent, but there is a renewed effort to make this a regular practice.

Truly none. Every partner is nothing short of accessible, encouraging, and dedicated to the long term success of each and every associate.

Working closely with partners, the supportive and social atmosphere, the encouragement to seek out opportunities that you may find interesting.

Great quality of life firm

I appreciate the regular informal check-ins for associates that have recently been instituted. I hope the firm continues that process.

Anderson & Kreiger is a great quality of life firm. The attorneys here do high quality work, while also prioritizing work-life balance. The firm also has an interesting mix of work, representing state agencies, local governments, airports, and private clients in litigation and transactional matters. Because of our client mix, we litigate at the trial court and appellate levels, and have more trial experience than many civil litigators. Cases are staffed leanly, so associates work closely with partners and are given a significant amount of responsibility early on. The environment is collegial and supportive of growth.

Cases are staffed leanly, which has pros and cons. While it means that I am able to get a significant amount of experience quickly, it also means that when a case has a significant development, it is important that I am available to address it.

This is a small firm--about 32 lawyers. As a result, associates and partners form close relationships. People who like working together tend to gravitate toward each other.

-Significant responsibility is given to young associates. -I work on an interesting mix of cases. -I appreciate the firm's commitment to pro bono matters. -My hours are good compared to my peers. -The associates and partners have close relationships.

Try to expand and get bigger clients so that we can get more experience with larger cases. It's tough to improve myself if I don't ever get the opportunity. Also talk to the negative people in the office for all our sakes.

The firm offers good benefits such as healthcare and a yearly end of the year bonus just in time for the holidays. Reliable work hours and steady work.

Some of the other co-workers are rude and intrusive always trying to impede their will onto you which is problematic and annoying. No big cases to work on at all. Management is content with the state of the firm.
