Linklaters LLP is a global law firm headquartered in London, UK and an eminent member of the coveted 'Magic Circle' of UK law firms. Linklaters LLP is the fourth largest global law firm in the world in terms of revenue (£1.2bn in revenue as in April 2011). With 2200+ legal advisers and 2800+ staff across 27 offices in 19 countries, Linklaters is one of the biggest law firms worldwide. Not all years brought good news for the firm as Linklaters had to bear credit crunch problem in 2008 and resort to cutting 270 jobs in London including 120 lawyers and 150 of the staff. In one of the biggest cases in 2008, Linklaters was appointed for handling Lehman Brothers insolvency.

There is a dedicated training program which includes comprehensive sessions related to the firm's main areas of practice run by partners or senior associates.
The offices which offer summer seats for law students in the US are New York, London and Hong Kong. Most work assignments are then coordinated by workflow coordinators who are mostly senior associates and partners. Summer associates will be given a chance to participate in pro bono projects too.
