Summer associate program

The firm attaches a lot of importance to its Summer Associate Program since it considers it the prime source of associate hiring. Summer Associates normally spend the first 8 weeks of the summer with the firm. A committee composed of partners and associates oversee the work of the summer associates. Each summer associate is paired with at least one mentor. Mentors assist their mentees in acclimating to the firm. Typically mentors take their mentees to lunch on a regular basis, attend the social events, and answer both informal and substantive questions that arise during the summer.It's not all work the firm offers many social events as well where summer associates get to know the firm's lawyers and the city in which they are working, and are held in a relaxed atmosphere.

Summer associates are evaluated on every project. Each attorney who gives an assignment should provide direct feedback on the project upon completion. The Summer Associate Committee will track progress throughout the summer and addresses issues if they arise.
