The candidate will join a firm that focuses on family law and divorce law, and the legal issues commonly associated with divorce including parent’s rights, custody issues guardianship, adoption and bankruptcy. Will represent clients at Santa Fe and Albuquerque Offices.
The interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
The candidate should have 2-5 years’ experience with Domestic Relations, Estate Planning, Guardianships and Civil litigation. Must have ability to maintain legal files, drafting, filing and serving motions/pleadings under supervision of an attorney.
