Law students will be researching constituent inquiries and requests, participation in outreach activities, assisting staff on special projects, handling phone calls and constituent requests and sorting mail. Students will work closely with constituents and staff, polish their research and writing skills and gain an in-depth understanding of a Senate office.

Volunteer Legal Internship Program (Fall)
The candidate should have good grades. Students commit to 20 hours / week during Fall. Candidate should apply directly 4-5 months in advance of desired start date. 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls candidate may apply.
Intern may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
