The candidate will be the primary receptionist for the firm and provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegal. Must have solid telephone and administrative assistant skills with the ability to stay organized and multi-task while providing clients with exceptional service. Should have a basic understanding of Windows, MS Word, Excel, and the Internet. Prior legal experience is beneficial.
The candidate will be answering phones, scheduling consultations, creating and maintaining client files, electronic filing of court documents, upkeep of calendars, and high-volume contact with clients and other professionals on day-to-day basis. Responsible for providing administrative support to both the attorneys and paralegals.
The candidate will perform secretarial duties using legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Will prepare legal papers and correspondence, such as summonses, complaints, motions, and subpoenas.
