Interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
Student will work with staff on numerous constituent issues, conduct research on a variety of topics, assist with correspondence, and accompany staff to events in the 16th Congressional District. Assist with research and response to constituent mail. Open and sort constituent mail. Answer phones and copy documents. Plan and attend events in the 16th district. Must be of college or graduate school age, working toward a degree.
Law Research Intern
The intern will be responsible for: intellectual property and copyright research; sponsorship law research, online multi-state compliance research, DOL compliance research, and ERISA compliance research. Should preferably be a 2nd or 3rd year law student. Must have a strong research capabilities and a good work ethic.
Duration: 3 months for 15-20 hours per week
