U.S. Bank Wealth Management Attorney The candidate would interpret and assess the requirements of laws and regulations as they apply to the Trust businesses, including state probate, trust and other fiduciary laws, OCC fiduciary regulations, and federal regulations that impact account investments; advise Trust management on the administration of Trust accounts, including the resolution of account-level issues; assist Trust management in the creation and implementation of processes and procedures designed to address legal and regulatory requirements; draft client agreements and disclosures consistent with laws and regulations; provide legal advice related to unique assets such as real estate and private funds; manage engagements of outside counsel utilized to provide advice to Trust management.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Law degree; licensed by and in good standing with the appropriate state bar association or other appropriate state attorney licensing authority; 8-10 years of experience as an attorney; working knowledge of the personal trust administration process and issues commonly associated with the management of trust assets; representation of a financial institution as trustee; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; strong commitment to client service; ability to lead and work in a team environment.
