Institutional Trust Administrator - Investment Management and Fiduciary Services Duties: Report to the Director of Investment Management & Fiduciary Services and will be responsible for the administration and retention of our growing institutional business (specifically focused on Foundations, Endowments, qualified and non-qualified plans). Will be to ensure that these accounts are administered in accordance with the terms of governing instruments, organizational policies and procedures, and State and Federal laws. Will interact with clients and our business partners across the organization. Relationship management including the on-going servicing and retention of institutional client relationships. Advise institutional clients and their auditors on tax and compliance matters relevant to respective state law. Analyzes and interprets legal instruments/documents to determine the duties and responsibilities of the Trust Company Directs all activities related to the account, including third party investment managers and appropriate tax and regulatory reporting ensuring quality and accuracy of activity. Proactively communicates with client and third party service providers to ensure a high level of customers satisfaction and to achieve account objectives Ensures account is in compliance with legal and regulatory requirement relating to governing documents. Identifies and resolves quality issues. Consults with internal partners (including Portfolio Managers, Wealth Management Advisors, Trust Operations, etc.) about client issues and potential opportunities. May represent the company through participation in professional and industry-wide associations.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree, JD Degree and/or industry certifications (CTFA, CEBS, CRSP, CISP, CFP, etc.) are preferred. 5-7 years' financial services experience involving administration of foundations, endowments, or qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans. Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal regulations related to trust administration, including charitable trust or qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans.
