Personal Trust Department Manager Duties: Will be responsible for leadership of the personal trust department and oversight of its accounts according to document provisions and fiduciary standards. Will administer the Divisions most complex and sensitive personal trust accounts. Additional primary responsibilities include business development (estate planning, administration, investment services) and cross-referrals, client service and relationship management, and satisfaction of audit and regulatory requirements. Assist with the development, implementation and oversight of Division and Bank initiatives that advance sound business practices and enhance customer satisfaction. Perform all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner aligned with the Company Core Values of Teamwork, Integrity and Exceptional Service (TIES). Minimum Qualification Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited 4 year university. CPA or law degree preferred. Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) preferred. 7+ years of estate planning and trust administration experience. 4+ years of management experience. Strong working knowledge of estate planning, trust products/services, fiduciary law, tax, real estate, insurance, investments, and bank products/services. Strong interpersonal skills to interface with customers, service providers (attorneys, accountants, real estate agents, care givers), Division and Bank staff, and Regulators. Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills. Proficiency in the use of the PC and MS Office applications. Ability to speak and read/write Japanese highly desirable.
