ProfilePrivate Bank Wealth Advisor Duties: Responsible for extensive expertise in advising high net worth clients on wealth transfer and retirement, financial and estate planning strategies. Maintaining expert knowledge and expertise in advising clients on estate and wealth transfer strategies, liquidity events, business owner issues, and overall planning strategies. Present tax planning options and opportunities, interact with client’s attorneys, accountants and other advisors. Client meeting planning and facilitation. Discuss estate planning and work with internal and external resources to meet estate planning goals of the client. Evaluate and discuss options to meet client philanthropic goals. Seek to establish trust and confidence with client to win and close new business. Leverage knowledge and expertise to guide clients to utilize Citizen’s Private Bank solutions to wealth transfer or to meet planning need. Provide recommendations to individuals and family foundations enabling them to fulfill their goals related to investing/funding. Responsible for the evaluation, design and oversight of clients financial plan, including asset allocation, tax and estate planning, manager selection and reporting.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or equivalent in related field (investments, finance, law, accounting/tax, economics, business). CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD Degree preferred. 10+ years experience working with high net worth clients in a financial planning, accounting, or Trust/Probate/Estate work. Knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and service. Broad-based technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal and operations. Knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles and applicable laws and regulations usually acquired through training, seminars or law school. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of related legal, tax and financial concepts.
