Fiduciary Officer Associate- Wealth Management The candidate will be responsible for representing Bank of the West Wealth Management Division in its fiduciary capacity as Trustee, Executor or Agent under various forms of agreement. Has responsibility for overall administration of non-complex assigned accounts. Generally assigned accounts are fully invested in mutual funds. Ensures assigned accounts are in compliance with bank audit and security standards, policies and procedures. Administers assigned accounts in accordance with terms specified in the trust instrument. Participates in the development of new business from existing or prospective customers and cross-selling opportunities within the bank. Studies the trust agreement to determine terms, responsibilities and duties of the bank. Recommends to the Regional Trust Administrative Committee the appropriate course of action on non-routine matters. Maintains contacts with customers to discuss and advise on problems, explain terms and specifications of the will and/or trust, and to arrange for payments acceptable under the terms of the trust. Sets up estates, trusts, agency accounts, and guardianships as assigned. Must have Bachelor’s Degree. Should preferably have JD degree. Must have 2+ years' experience in a trust function. Client service experience is needed. Bank product and service knowledge is desired. Microsoft Office Skills- Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is must.
