ProfileWealth Management - Head The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Trust business, including leading a team of over 40 sophisticated trust professionals, providing oversight of trust administration and new trust business, and working with internal partners in Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology to help drive strategic initiatives. Develop and retain talent in the Trust Company which includes coaching and mentoring, providing ongoing performance feedback on a regular basis, assessing and planning for appropriate resources, and recruiting new talent. Work with Wealth Advisors, Team Leaders, Trust Officers and markets to oversee new fiduciary business opportunities, including assessment of opportunity, identification of risk, review of assets, review of structure, understanding of client and co-trustee issues, determine appropriate pricing of business, in conjunction with the New Business Lead. Represent fiduciary practice in new business/client presentations. Train integrated teams on fiduciary business and spotting opportunities. Partner with the Trusts & Estates Leadership team and Market Managers to ensure service standards are met, providing the best client experience possible while also ensuring adherence to our fiduciary obligations. Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with existing clients and beneficiaries. Increase trust visibility within the integrated teams, build relationships with the markets. Oversee the administrative and technical activities of the Trust Company which involves serving on the Board of Directors for the legal entity and representing the business to statue regulators, internal audit, compliance and risk partners. Facilitate the resolution of complex technical issues and questions. Approve discretionary decisions and provide document interpretation and analysis of the relevant policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Provide guidance/approval on investment exceptions requiring fiduciary input. Review Annual Administrative Account and Holistic Reviews that present potential risk issues and advise on resolution of open action plans. Monitor monthly administrative metrics and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues. Manage completion of all compliance and risk management projects. Provide review and input on proposed policy additions and changes. Bachelor’s Degree required; JD or other advanced degree preferred. In-depth knowledge of fiduciary products and services, including all legal, tax and regulatory requirements applicable to fiduciary relationships required. Thorough knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles, and applicable laws and regulations is essential. Technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal, and operations required. Substantial client relationship management experience as a lead relationship manager in trust administration, estate administration, estate planning, or related fields required. Proven skills in communication, negotiation, problem resolution, leadership, and organization required. Significant experience managing a large team of trust professionals in a global client context required.
