Temporary Family Law Attorney The candidate will be responsible for legal representation of low-income victims of domestic violence in an array of family court proceedings, including dissolution of marriage, custody and support, UPAs and restraining orders. Will be conducting community education presentations and working in collaboration with the court and domestic violence organizations to address policy and impact issues affecting domestic violence survivors. Assists victims of domestic violence in U Visa, VAWA, and adjustment of status petitions. Must have 2 years of relevant litigation experience with membership in good standing of the California State Bar. Exposure to immigration law related to domestic violence is required. Skill in outreach, education and collaboration with community partners needed. Excellence in writing, editing and proof-reading a must. Bilingual ability in Spanish strongly preferred.
