VP, Business Development - Telecom Duties: Plans and implements sales programs in new markets to generate new logo business. Strives to achieve or exceed sales objectives, through sales strategies and programs that support associated revenue and profitability targets set by executive leadership. Counsels executive leadership on new product ideas and associated potential. Ensures maximum revenue at minimum cost through effective negotiation.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Four-year college degree in a business-related field or equivalent industry experience. MBA or JD Degree preferred. 10 years of progressively responsible service industry sales experience, including a successful track record collaborating with world-class organizations to offer strategic solutions that deliver results. Track record of successfully developing and presenting compelling written/oral proposals for the formal presentation of products, solutions and services to clients that parallel value proposition. Superior interpersonal and collaborative skills, including impeccable verbal and written communications skills, presentation, and facilitation skills. Proven track record of successfully developing and making compelling written/oral proposals for the formal presentation of products, solutions and services to clients. Capable of managing complex contract negotiations, including interactions with client legal counsel. Ability to mentor sales professionals responsible for a consultative selling process. PC literate with the ability to use a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated record of building long-term business relationships that result in recurring revenue. Deep outsourcing knowledge that will provide contacts and lend both credibility and confidence to potential customers.
