ProfileBusiness Analyst 4 The candidate will review and approve software license, consulting services and software as a service (SaaS) requests submitted by sales teams for internal Tier 1 approval on behalf of the Executive Vice President, Global Business Units. Will deliver exceptional service levels and review turnaround times. Work with operations teams in the GBUs to adhere to a standard process for approval submissions and a consistently high quality of executive summary requests. Proactively engage with and coach GBU field teams to develop optimal deal structures that minimize nonstandard requests, control risk, and maximize revenue and margins. Assist GBU operations teams when interacting with other corporate areas such as RevRec, Deal Management, Legal, etc. Assist with reviewing sales operations processes to identify and implement enhancements. Support field enablement efforts related to business practices, working with Contracts and Legal, etc. (e.g., participate in Advanced Deal Management courses). Each team member will be mapped to specific territory defined by GBU, type of business, or by geography. Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have experience working with legal documents and complex contractual language. A background in SaaS, consulting, or GBU products are especially desired. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree is highly desirable (particularly J.D.). Must have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic understanding of the sales process is essential. Should have 8+ years of relevant work experience and strong written and verbal communication skills.
