ProfileTax Services Manager - Global Compliance & Reporting The candidate will assist in supporting client engagements by coordinating day-to-day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics. Continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations. Identify and resolve tax technical issues and sharing insights to improve our efficiency will be a key component. Partner with other team members to help identify new opportunities to leverage to clients across multiple service lines. Provide the clients with domestic federal tax advice and guidance tailored to their unique needs. Keep up to date with ongoing trends and changes to legislation that will affect planning activities. Supervise high-performing teams and sharing your experience and knowledge of leading-practices. Develop the technical and soft skills of younger colleagues, and participating in the performance management process. Build relationships at all levels both internally and externally, promoting a culture of collaboration. Prepare practical recommendations to some of our clients’ most complex tax issues. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and 5+ years of related work experience required. CPA certification or licensed attorney status required. A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation required. Experience managing budgets and projects required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools required. A proven record in a professional services environment and experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues preferred.
