ProfilePrivate Wealth Services Tax Manager Duties: Responsible for managing tax engagements and providing tax consulting services to our clients. Works with other professionals in Family Wealth Planning and SFTS to build a profitable practice, delivering high value solutions and income, estate, and gift tax planning strategies to the high net worth market. Manage the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget. Provide tax planning and consulting to our firm's high net worth clients for estate, wills and trusts taxation, and individual income taxes. Interact closely with client's other advisers such as attorneys and financial asset managers. Research and consult on tax matters, primarily in the federal estate, gift, charitable planning, and generation-skipping tax arenas. Consult, work with, and service client to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business adviser to clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA required. Masters in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, JD Degree , or CFP preferred. 5-8 years of progressive tax consulting and compliance in Private Wealth Service or related area, in public accounting or consulting. Experience in dealing with family units with $25 million and above in net worth, and a proven track record in implementation of tax strategies. Experience in financial modeling and analysis. Experience in practice development, business development, and managing other managers. Outstanding experience in staff and tax management in an integrated client service team.
