Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing The candidate will pay a key role in all aspects of Bridgestone America, Inc.’s global transfer pricing function. Will lead the development, execution and maintenance of transfer pricing models that reflect business operations, maximize savings and manage risk. Development of transfer pricing policies that are supported by external benchmarking and studies. Lead Transfer Pricing function including design, development, implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies for intercompany transactions including but not limited to tangible property, services, royalties and financing. Identify and manage transfer pricing risk, support audit defense and ensure appropriate experts are engaged to defend positions challenged by tax authorities. Manage the preparation of transfer pricing documentation as required for US penalty protection purposes, coordinate global BEPS CbC reporting, and ensure statutory and local filing requirements are met in foreign jurisdictions. Identify opportunities to implement and lead proactive transfer pricing risk mitigation strategies, such as advance pricing agreements. Work with Internal Audit and Finance Leaders to develop and execute a program to review and test compliance with transfer pricing policies. Work closely with the Legal Teams to support the development and regular renewal of intercompany agreements, ensuring royalty rates and pricing of products and services are consistent with current policy methodology. Maintain suite of transfer pricing policies and ensure they are appropriate for current facts, circumstances, and business models. Ensure policies reflect best practice and are supported by benchmarking and studies. Develop and execute a strategy involving risk assessment, training and documentation to manage transfer pricing risk in key jurisdictions across the globe. Align strategies and objectives and maintain strategic relationships with the Global and Regional Businesses, Finance, Legal, Treasury, Internal Audit, External Auditors, Consulting firms, and all other Tax COEs. Provide training to key stakeholders on transfer pricing principles. Provide mentoring, coaching, and timely feedback to teammates to strengthen their technical and professional skills. Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA certificate or international equivalent preferred. MST, JD Degree or LLM as alternative. 8+ years of experience in transfer pricing in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm. Experience managing transfer pricing controversy matters. Ability to communicate with impact across all levels of an organization. Proficiency with MS Office Applications. Must have a solid background in US and OECD transfer pricing principles, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in ways that can be understood by non-tax professionals.
