Fiduciary Tax Accountant III
The candidate will be responsible for all tax reporting of estate accounts for the duration of the estate settlement process and ongoing technical support to Estate Settlement Services. Responsible for all assigned accounts, achieving client focused service standards and complying with bank standards and policies, and federal and state laws. Build partnerships and develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners. Proactively manage risk by identifying and escalating risks promptly. Embrace change while controlling risk and drive consistency with the practice. Must have the administrative and technical skills to provide tax technical advice, prepare and review the most complex returns and manage the contact the outside attorneys as well as internal business partners. Should have 5-7 years of experience in a fiduciary tax services environment working with transfer tax and fiduciary income tax returns. Accounting, finance or law degree required. Tax technical skills with ability to research, draw conclusions and drive appropriate business decisions are needed.
