ProfileTax - Supervisor - Sales and Use Tax The candidate will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around two core concepts (Technical and Quality Expertise, and Client Service). Will provide excellent client service to multistate companies with state and local tax issues by interacting with clients and the firm's tax team Review sales and use compliance and provide state tax consulting, including nexus studies, technical research, exposure quantification, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, reverse sales tax audits, ASC 450 reviews, technology, planning and other state tax consulting. Provide appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised. Identify opportunities to cross-sell various SALT services. Other duties as assigned. Should have Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field from an accredited college or university. Should have CPA, JD degree, LLM degree, EA or possess an alternative, relevant license. Should have 4+ years of experience providing sales and use tax consulting services in a Public Accounting, Consulting, or Law firm. Experience preparing and reviewing returns is preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills is essential.
