Tax Manager The candidate will manage the global organization and is responsible for managing the tax reporting, compliance, and planning activities. Oversee the Company’s quarterly and annual income tax accounting reporting process. Manage quarterly consolidated worldwide income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740. Design, implement, and manage the company's tax strategy and tax planning including business operations and legal entity structuring that are consistent with both current and future business needs. Provide leadership to the tax organization that is aligned with company values and supports fiscal success; demonstrate ownership and responsibility for succession management and talent development. Execute on global tax vision across the company and support our global tax organization’s alignment with that goal; optimizing internal and external resources. Develop tax strategies to minimize cash taxes and lower the effective tax rate. Ensure all income tax related general ledger accounts are properly recorded and reconciled. Review and manage the income tax compliance functions for federal, state and local, and international tax filings. Monitor and ensure compliance with changing tax laws and provide input to management on changes that could affect the company. Review the Company’s transfer pricing policies and allocations to ensure they are aligned with countries and local requirements/legislation. Manage and oversee tax related audits, including required internal and external coordination. Enhance tax organization’s reporting systems and processes as well as the related internal controls. Coordinate with the Treasury Department on dividend and international cash management to minimize cash taxes. Support sales/use, property, and Canadian GST compliance and exposure management processes. CPA required. J.D. or M.T preferred. 6–10 years of experience in public accounting or multinational corporate tax accounting; Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus, CPA required. International tax experience preferred. Must possess understanding of ASC 740 and FIN 48 and domestic and international income tax provisions. Experience with OneSource Tax Provision operating in an SAP environment is desired. Strong management experience with demonstrated leadership in developing an effective tax team required. Advanced problem solving skills (critical thinking, creativity, innovation) with the ability to work cross-functionally at all levels required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex financial topics required. Solid understanding of tax returns, federal, state, local tax laws and regulations required.
