ProfileLead, Tax Planning and Strategy The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of federal, and state or provincial US and Canadian taxation- for all business groups and legal entities, including compliance, audit defense, planning, and income tax accounting support. Will lead all US and Canadian federal tax compliance. Lead US state and local and Canadian provincial income, property, sales, and VAT tax compliance. Lead state and local tax credits and economic incentives, including application for new credits. Document all US and Canadian transfer pricing. Defend IRA and CRA federal income tax and transfer pricing audits. Defend US state and local audits, including income, property and sales tax audits. Defend Canadian provincial and GST audits. Serve as tax liaison to all NAO Business Groups. Serve as tax liaison to all NAO SSC and Finance Department functions. Serve as NAO tax liaison to Nanterre and all foreign subsidiaries. Work in conjunction with Group Tax Department for NAO tax planning, reduction, and rationalization. Support all NAO BG’s and site controllers on tax accounting. Support all P&L and balance sheet deferred taxes to E&Y for NAO financial statement audits. Support consolidations accounting for NAO tax accounting. Build NAO tax forecasting in liaison with the Group Tax Department. Serve as liaison to Group Tax Director and Group Tax Department. Provide due diligence support for NAO business and asset acquisitions. Should have Bachelors degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant. Masters Degree in Taxation and/or Law Degree is preferred. Should have 5+ years experience in public accounting and/or tax department of global corporations with potential to grow in the organization or seasoned professional.
