Tax Accountant, Tax (PCS Standard) – (Manager) Duties: Provide business tax services to help client companies meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance and planning, and tax policy and controversy. Advise on areas such as global compliance and reporting, tax accounting and risk advisory, tax performance advisory, business tax advisory, quantitative services and/or personal tax services. Provide tax-related domestic and cross-border planning and compliance assistance to clients, including business-connected individuals and their associated entities. Research complex tax issues and deepen knowledge in individual income tax compliance and planning. Oversee the preparation of tax returns, interacting with the client to obtain outstanding information and make arrangements to file tax returns. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or related field and 4 years of work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning. Must have CPA certification, membership in the Bar, or Enrolled Agent status. Must have 4 years of experience in high-net-worth individual tax, partnership, private capital or international tax projects. Must have 4 years of experience in US income, estate, gift, and goods and services taxation. Must have 4 years of experience in conducting tax law research for individual taxation issues. Must have 4 years of experience in automated tax processing systems, including GoSystems, CS Planner, Excel, and/or Checkpoint SurePrep.
