Tax Services Senior - National Tax - Joint Venture and Partnership The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and strong technical partnership tax skills, and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Will provide high-quality services and 'time-sensitive' advice that meet and/or exceed clients' expectations. Prepare internal memoranda, written products provided to clients, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department, and review partnership agreements. Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business. Help develop and guide staff and other junior tax professionals by providing effective performance feedback. Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree and 1-2 years of related work experience. A degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. CPA or J.D. degree required. Relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry is needed. Strong technical writing skills are essential. Should have broad exposure to federal income taxation, with an emphasis on partnership taxation.
