Transaction Advisory Services Senior - Transaction Tax - M&A The candidate will serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporate entities pursue. Will identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities while advising both strategic and private equity buyers and sellers on alternative tax strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of businesses. Assist in reviewing and analyzing merger agreements and providing opinion letters. Review, assess, and advise clients regarding the tax computations reflected in their financial models, and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree and 1-2 years of related work experience. An accounting major OR a Master's degree in accounting, MST or J.D./LL.M. is preferred. Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent or Attorney is preferred. Must have 2+ years of relevant tax experience. M&A tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post acquisition planning experience preferred. Should be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
