Senior Legal Officer The candidate will be responsible for: drafting, reviewing and negotiation of general business terms, business related agreements and legal documents with clients, suppliers and other business counterparts; contribution to the legal definition of new business initiatives, business models and investment opportunities; administration of company secretarial and legal issues for Luxembourg companies of the company group; provision of regulatory and legal support internally; managing contacts with regulators and law firms; dealing with tax service-line-specific risk issues; participating in the preparation of guidelines, updates, tools and templates on matters of current concern, in order to help tax professionals to comply with professional requirements; communicating, implementing and monitoring compliance with tax policies, procedures and best practices to the tax practice; updating the Luxembourg Tax Practice Manual (TPM); participating and assisting in the training sessions dedicated to the needs of the tax professionals in quality, risk and reputation area; participating and assisting with internal and company tax practice reviews.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Master Degree in Law (Business or Corporate Law, ideally with a specialisation in Contract Law and sound knowledge/interest in Tax Law). Should ideally have 3 years' experience in a similar working environment or in a law firm. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed. Must be fluent in English with an excellent knowledge of French or German.
