Tax Services Senior - Human Capital Services - Performance and Reward - Tax Technical The candidate will actively engage in required consultations. Will focus on people/talent development by counseling, coaching and impacting others through identification of stretch and challenging goals. Identify and implement operational efficiencies. Manage key components of multiple tax engagements, including strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and delivery of exceptional client service. Challenge the effectiveness of the tax strategy and approach for all engagements. Develop strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients and key stakeholders. Collaborate with a team of Performance and Reward professionals consisting of actuaries as well as compensation, plan administration and transaction professionals. Work directly with clients on projects involving many aspects of employee benefits, human resource operations, and human resource transaction-related projects. Perform Internal Revenue Code and ERISA research involving a variety of qualified plan and executive compensation issues. Be involved in tax provision reviews for qualified plans. Track and assess project goals, issues, timelines, action items and budgets using project management tools and methodology. Assist in implementing techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate potential risks and help identify potential business opportunities. Should have a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, business, finance, human resources, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in tax and employee benefits law. MBA, Master's of Tax, or a J.D. degree with strong academic credentials preferred.
