Financial Services Organization - Tax - Transfer Pricing - Manager Candidate will thoroughly and accurately analyze information, apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients' financial circumstances. Will take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. Also develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely, responsive services/work products and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services. Prepare documentation, participate in advance pricing agreements (APAs) and defend transfer pricing in audits. Work in the valuation of intangible assets and develop practical planning services. Demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations. Analyze information, prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions. Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services/work products. Identify and pursue transfer pricing opportunities with an aim towards winning new engagements. Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals. Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. Manage the work of client service team members. Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff. Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training transfer pricing professionals. Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis. Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate should have one or more of the following: An advanced degree in economics, law, finance, tax or accounting; or a CPA or similar certification. 5+ years of transfer pricing or similar experience and an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts is required. Familiarity with the financial services industry is needed. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin is essential.
