Manager, Global Tax The candidate will be involved with all aspects of intercompany arrangements, including managing the annual transfer pricing process and the related withholding tax and VAT analysis, support intercompany charges, manage country-by-country reporting, and liaise with global corporate and operations teams. Will support the tax function of the company by ensuring continued compliance with US GAAP and US tax law and manage audit defense of tax positions taken in regards to related-party transactions. Will also assist in identifying opportunities that will maximize earnings and cash flow by minimizing the company's effective tax rate and cash tax burden. Prepare / review annual transfer pricing charges under US GAAP. Support the implementation of the global transfer pricing model. Advise stakeholders on the international tax and transfer pricing implications of certain business objectives. Provide supporting documents for US and International tax compliance. Provide support and compile necessary documentation for IRS and foreign tax audits. Resolve tax issues, and provides guidance to global finance professionals in responses to tax notices and inquiries from federal/state/international agencies. Assist in global planning projects. Maintain an excellent professional relationship with the external auditors while effectively managing and responding to the audit. Apply tax laws and regulations to support tax return positions, audit defense, tax planning, etc. Identify, develop and implement tax planning opportunities. Communicate and develop relationships with business unit finance personnel as well as outside consultants. Oversee, direct and develop tax staff. Should have a B.S./B.A. degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or related field. CPA, MST or J.D. degree is required. Must have 5-7 years of relevant international tax and transfer pricing experience.
