Profile

Senior Manager, International Tax Duties: Reporting to the International Tax Senior Director, this position will perform a variety of functions relating to the international tax aspects of planning, reporting, compliance, and audits. Support implementation of the worldwide corporate tax structure to maximize tax efficiency. Assist with quarterly and annual foreign entities’ tax provisions in accordance with ASC740, including valuation allowance analysis, and FIN48 reserve calculations. Assist the Tax Accounting group with international tax liability projections. Coordinate with Accounting and IT departments to implement transfer pricing policy and assist with the review of intercompany accounting, including overseeing and supporting the preparation of transfer pricing studies. Work with the Finance Shared Service Center for foreign local tax compliance and planning. Prepare and review E&P and FTC calculations for CFCs. Support foreign and U.S. international tax audit defense, tax notices & inquiries. Assist in planning and implementing cross-border M&A transactions, post-acquisition integrations, and entity rationalization. Coordinate with outside tax consultants for various tax projects. Ad hoc tax projects as required or as needed.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA/JD and or Masters in Taxation preferred. 8+ years with a combination of major public accounting firm and multinational corporation in high tech industry, with 6+ years international taxation experience. Ability to operate in a detail oriented and “hands-on” environment. Sound technical knowledge and practical experience dealing with foreign and U.S. international tax issues for multinational corporations. Involvement in preparation of tax provisions for foreign entities under U.S. GAAP. Hands-on experience in resolving international indirect tax issues. Strong accounting and analytical skills with ability to research tax law and apply relevant tax law to specific fact patterns. Strong project management and organization skills and must be able to multi-task. Team oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of projects. Be able to communicate tax issues clearly and interact effectively with various groups throughout the Company, as well as outside consultants.
