Tax Senior - Global Compliance and Reporting - Global Services The candidate will manage global client engagements and supervise junior staff. Will supplement the capabilities of junior staff and paraprofessionals in those areas requiring technical competencies or professional judgment beyond paraprofessional or the Tax Staff level. Work with the GCR Pursuit Leader to support scoping, solution design, proposal development and pricing. Manage pursuit support provided by GCR resources. Assist in accurately defining global scope. Respond to scoping questions from junior staff and paraprofessionals or local member firms during the proposal process. Prepare client-specific materials required to respond to client Request For Proposal requirements (e.g., custom process workflows, client-specific dummy data for technology demos). Perform technology demonstrations to prospective and current clients. Review detailed scope/fee schedules and follow-up where appropriate. Review pricing sections of proposals, including scope and fee caveats. Review proposal drafts. Develop the transition workplan. Manage transition activities. Monitor the contracting process and escalate issues appropriately. Serve as an escalation point for transition issues that cannot be resolved by junior staff and paraprofessionals or company's outsourcing office. Assist with implementing technology and documenting engagement processes. Prepare scope and fee reconciliation. Review, approve and present monthly project status reports. Identify, document and resolve project issues. Respond to queries from company's outsourcing office that cannot be resolved at the junior staff and paraprofessional level. Work with company's outsourcing office and junior staff and paraprofessionals to prepare communications to non-US teams on routine and non-routine matters. Facilitate and manage service change requests. Brief new countries on key engagement protocols. Work with Financial Management Associates to track time and budget and arrange billings. Identify or generate pull-through sales opportunities and convert them into revenue. Assist with internal projects. Should have an undergraduate degree preferably with an emphasis in accounting and related work experience in global or international tax compliance or equivalent experience in business or industry. Should have CPA or J.D. degree (obtained or in process).
