Supply Chain Sourcing: Legal Counsel – IT & Telecom The candidate will be responsible for indirect supply chain services’ agreements with a primary focus on IT & Telecom contracting (license agreements, SaaS agreements, technology-related hardware agreements, IT, Telecom related services agreements). Manage drafting and negotiation. Supply Chain commercial agreements, mainly IT and telecom contracting (license agreements, SaaS agreements, all types of cloud, open source, technology-related hardware agreements, technology-related services agreements, telecom, serving in alignment with Global Operations and the global businesses and the company functions (such as finance, marketing, business development, HR, IT, compliance, legal and security). Effectively support cross-functional teams through the RFI, RFP and other applicable IT & sourcing processes: including requirements definition, bid/negotiations, contract documentation and integration, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained at each tollgate. Law degree from accredited law school and 3+ years of legal experience handling commercial and contract matters required. Significant IT and technology experience is required. Demonstrated expert knowledge and command of commercial law, particularly in the US and global marketplace, with 5+ years of practice in a US state preferably in either a law firm or in a responsible in-house position required. Must be a member in good standing of one or more State bar or the DC bar and where required, in house counsel registration. Demonstrated experience and strength with contract drafting and negotiation required. Strong process experience & orientation – organized and results-oriented required. Experience supporting materials and other direct sourcing preferred. Previous work experience in technology and sourcing transactions (e.g. software development, outsourcing and licensing (including open source)) and in supporting indirect sourcing or commercial sales functions on US platforms preferred. Prior experience with privacy/data protection, marketing, commercial and competition laws applied in a sourcing context, web-based content/licensing, partnering and/or distribution preferred.
