Specialist, Contract The candidate will supporting preparation and administration of local purchased service agreements for Patient Services. Assist in preparation and response to contract information requests, attorney approval and review. Maintenance of electronic and physical contract repositories and contract management system. Monitor contract executions and expirations. Primary contact between contract vendors and Patient Services. Identifies vendor opportunities. Builds vendor relationships. Support Patient Services by assisting in the identification of appropriate PSA collection vendors where PSC access gaps exist. Coordinate necessary training of PSA vendors by PS training team. Monitor contract compliance with all legal and compliance requirements. Oversee monitoring of invoices and pricing. Assess financials for all relationships through financial reporting. Manages a contract administration staff of approximately of 1-3 staff members. Should preferably have BA/BS degree in business or legal. Pertinent experience may be substituted for degree. Paralegal training is desired. Experience in reading and interpreting contracts, agreements and legal documents and offering language modifications to meet specific requirements is needed. Experience modifying documents while tracking changes and versions utilizing Microsoft Word is must. Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and managing the flow of information across multiple work groups is essential. Experience working with and administering web-based applications such as Siterra or other contract administration products is a plus. Prior experience as a contract administrator in a business setting is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is must.
