We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the Real Estate department in the Atlanta office of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and staff. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Coordinating and managing large and complex commercial real estate transactions, often covering multiple properties in multiple jurisdictions Taking lead role in title and survey reviews and coordinates comments with title companies Coordinating with clients and adverse parties on the execution and delivery of documents under a time-constraint setting Maintaining tickler system to ensure that due diligence matters and other transactional matters are completed in accordance with transactional schedules Preparing closing binders, following-up on outstanding post-closing matters and providing timely delivery of binders to clients and adverse parties Reviewing and drafting transactional documents Utilizing, creating or establishing procedures to be able to organize and locate documents Maintaining files reflecting work product and progress on large projects, e.g., initial filings, unusual transactions Creating and maintaining transactional files Performing other work-related duties as assigned Desired Skills and Experience: Four year College Degree is required; Paralegal Certificate is preferred. One to three years of working as a Real Estate Paralegal in a large firm, corporate or commercial real estate finance practice is required. Must have extensive experience with MS Office. Strong organization and communication skills are required. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work with minimal supervision and interact with all levels of personnel.
