Associate General Counsel, Servicer and Investor Solutions Duties: Provide legal advice and support to the Servicer Solutions division. Provides services used by mortgage servicers. Asset management services, residential property valuation, title and closing services, as well as default management services. Provide legal advice and support to the Real Estate Investor Solutions division. Provides services and technologies used by investors in residential real estate. Real estate brokerage operations, vendor network management, property renovation and management. Monitor, evaluate and implement required changes in response to state and federal laws and regulations. Work with business units to respond to effectively implement required changes. Draft and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors. Manage in-house counsel in connection with supporting divisions. Work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues raised by customers, agencies and regulators. Participate in preparation of responses relating to legal and regulatory examinations and complaints. Act as subject matter expert on a number regulatory issues as assigned. Lead or participate in other legal projects and matters as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from a nationally recognized law school required . Admitted to a state Bar and eligible to practice under applicable In-House Counsel rules. Broad law experience, preferably in residential real estate. Prefer candidates with prior relevant professional experience, including experience with RESPA and in real property transactions. A strong track record of accomplishments. An outstanding academic record and 10+ years of experience gained in a quality law firm and/or corporate setting. Strong transactional skills, including drafting and negotiating service agreements. Experience dealing with governmental regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
