Land Use Attorney The candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience and able to analyze CEQA issues and draft CEQA related documents (MNDs, EIRs, Subsequent CEQA documents, and Addendums), as well as oversee administrative record preparation, draft findings, trial briefs and other pleadings. Must have basic knowledge of general government statutes, such as the Public Records Act, Brown Act, and conflicts of interest. Admission to California State Bar required. Able to maintain cooperative working relationships with government staff members, consultants, and officials and members of the public, prepare and file conditional use permit applications, appear and speak effectively at fast-paced, large, lengthy, and controversial public hearing, appear and argue in court, manage workload and meet deadlines, and work competently in several different jurisdictions.
