ProfileAssociate Title Landman / Attorney The candidate will be responsible for reviewing various land title documents including Abstracts, Ownership Reports and Title Opinions. Primarily focus on abstracting and generating updated ownership reports for producing units and various land related projects. Perform abstracting and completion of ownership reports. Evaluate various land title documents, including Abstracts, Ownership Reports and Title Opinions. Maintain steady workflow and communication with Title Techs and Land Admin while maintaining ownerships and data for various projects. Ensure that a quality, timely and efficient product is being provided. Advise team members as to any significant issues or determinations in projects.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or Juris Doctorate degree. Must have 0-3 years of industry experience. Ohio title experience and Heirship experience preferred. Familiarity with utilizing GIS programs and other oil and gas related databases. Understanding of oil and gas terminology and concepts. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of land and title related documents. Able to effectively communicate with co-workers and multi-task various projects.
