Closing Attorney The candidate will be responsible for marketing title products and services to real estate agents and owners as well as maintaining the business and achieving the forecasted capture rate goals. Specifically, will be responsible for determining the legal sufficiency of a specific contract or transaction and conducting real estate closings. Drafting legal documents such as deeds, affidavits and Power of Attorney, completing title review and clearing any title issues, and examining title documents to identify and clear title problems in order for title insurance to be issued.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A JD Degree is required from an accredited school. Must have been admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana. 3-5 years in a title and/or escrow closing operation is required. Must have prior closing officer experience and have conducted closings. Sales experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required as well as analytical, judgment and decision making skills. Microsoft office proficiency required.
