Closing Escrow / Attorney The candidate advises clients in real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale or refinance of a home or commercial real estate property. Reports to the State Managing Attorney. Represents firm and Associates at real estate closings. Prepares and examines contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, etc. Provides legal advice to clients, prepares resolutions and forms. Responsible for foreseeing and protecting the clients and the company against legal risks. Willingly performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree and be licensed and hold a Bar card in good standing within the state of practice. Must have experience in the buying and selling of real estate, deed transfers, title issues, boundary dispute, easement or zoning issues, and other legal documents regarding the determination of land ownership. Should hold or be able to obtain a notary public certification prior to being employed.
