ProfileProject Director, Mauritania The candidate will undertake tasks required for the establishment of programs for a particular thematic area in the field office including: Judicial reform, access to justice and human rights; anti-corruption and public integrity; criminal law and anti-human trafficking; women's rights; legal education reform and civic education; and legal professional reform. Responsibilities will include: providing expertise and advancing program objectives in one or more of the above-mentioned technical fields, maintaining partnerships with local stakeholders, and interacting with donor organizations. In consultation with the Country Director, manage local staff, oversee administrative, financial, and logistical activities related to his program portfolio. Must have a J.D. or a relevant Master's degree, 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the targeted area of technical assistance, and experience implementing/managing international rule-of-law or democracy/governance programs. Relevant foreign language skills preferred.
